Link building is the strongest factor for ranking high in Google as well as reaching out to your prospective local clients.  The small business landscape is arguably tougher than ever before.

Website owners is getting more aware on the Search Optimization. Unfortunately, most widely-used methods suck! Most of the search engine optimization advice on the Internet is wrong!

    Why is this so? Google are constantly evolving, making it extremely difficult to know what works.

  • July, 2015 – Google slowly release the Panda 4.1 refresh, punishing pages with low quality content, scraped content and aggressive ads.
  • April, 2015 – Google released the game changing ‘Mobile SEO’ update, causing many sites with poor mobile support to drop out of the search results.
  • May, 2015 – Google quietly rolled out significant update dubbed ‘Phantom II’, further punishing sites with low quality content.

You probably already know that the days of spammy link building are long gone, to get your website to succeed with SEO now, you need to build quality backlinks.

  1. You can get some baller backlinks from testimonials
  2. Find link opportunity from the best posts, those are in your niche
  3. Exchange review with other blogger / site owner
  4. Link roundup: find link roundup in your niche by typing this “your keyword” + “link roundup” or “your keyword” + “best of”, then pitch your resource to the person that runs the roundup.
  5. Link reclamation: find mentions of your company and products that don’t link back to you.Use a tool like BuzzSumo and Mention.net to find mentions of your brand.  When you do, you’ll get a heads up whenever someone writes about you online.
  6. Create infographics, be creative, make something unique.  Once you have it,submit it to infographic sharing sites, like these:

    Visual.ly (PR7)

    DailyInfoGraphic.com (PR5)

    AmazingInfoGraphics.com (PR4)

    OmgInfoGraphics.com (PR3)

    Then reach out to bloggers in your niche and offer them the infographic as a guest post. To sweeten the deal, tell them that you’ll write a unique description for their site.

  7. Backlinks from .edu domains pack some serious ranking punch.Use these search strings to find them:

    site:.edu “your keyword”

    site:.edu “your keyword” + “resources”

    site:.edu: “your keyword” + inurl:links

    site:.edu: “your keyword” + “other sites”
